Mission Statement:

New Haven Academy provides a safe, non-judgmental environment where students become independent learners and experience personalized education culminating in high school graduation, post-secondary success, and responsible citizenship.

Welcome from Principal Abigail Kotzin

I am honored and excited to serve as the Principal of New Haven Academy and Director of Educational Options for New Haven Unified School District. I am passionate about providing students and families with educational options that recognize every student is unique and has their own path to success.

At New Haven Academy, students have the flexibility of an online learning platform with an accredited, California standards-aligned curriculum, supported by credentialed New Haven Unified School District teachers. Our goal is to provide students with the flexibility, support, connection, and opportunities they need to thrive.

We want every student to feel known, supported, engaged, and prepared for what comes next. Whether preparing for college, a career, or their next step in life, we are committed to helping students build the confidence, skills, and independence to reach their goals.
