Virtual Learning Learn from Anywhere
For students who thrive with flexibility and independence.
Students complete standards-aligned online coursework through Imagine Learning’s Edgenuity platform while participating in weekly virtual advisory with their teacher. Students can also stay connected to the NHA community through tutoring, enrichment, clubs, and community events. This pathway is ideal for self-directed students who need flexibility to balance school with athletics, performing arts, work, family responsibilities, or other commitments.
Hybrid On-Campus & Independent Learning Best of Both Worlds
For students who want flexibility while staying connected to school and peers.
Students combine California standards-aligned Edgenuity online coursework with 2–4 hours of targeted, in-person instruction each week. Students meet with teachers for instruction and support while collaborating with peers in a welcoming, supportive environment. Through advisory, tutoring, workshops, labs, and enrichment, students stay connected to school and build the skills, confidence, and independence needed for success in high school, college, the workforce, and graduation from NHUSD.
On-Line Live Instruction Learn Online with Friends
For students who learn best with consistency, connection, and live instruction.
Students participate in live online instruction three times each week within a consistent cohort of peers, supported by California standards-aligned coursework through Imagine Learning’s Edgenuity platform. Teachers provide direct instruction, regular feedback, and personalized support while students collaborate and build connections with classmates. This pathway provides the structure, relationships, and academic support students need to stay on track, prepare for their next step, and successfully graduate from NHUSD.
Dual Enrollment Fast Track You Future
For students in grades 10–12 who are ready to take their learning to the next level.
Students can extend their learning beyond NHA through dual enrollment, NHUSD courses, community college, CTE, ROP, and other college and career opportunities. Some college courses offer asynchronous learning, giving students valuable experience with the flexibility and independence of college-level coursework. Available to all students in grades 10–12, this pathway helps students build college-level skills, explore their interests, earn college credit, and strengthen their academic profile—preparing them to be competitive in the college application process and successful beyond high school.
